Art Sales Policies

Please choose your artwork carefully as I do not give refunds.

However, I want you to love your art.  If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return the item within 14 days for exchange or credit only. You must present receipt. Item(s) must be in original packaging and in unused, undamaged condition. Sorry, shipping costs will not be refunded. The client is responsible for returning the item(s) safely.

Special orders and commissions are final sales and cannot be returned or exchanged. All commissions and custom work require a 50% deposit to begin the project. The remaining balance is to be paid upon receival of the completed work.

Art Lesson Policies

Class registration and payments

To reserve your spot in a class please sign up in advance.

Single lessons require payment up front during time of booking.

Bundle lessons require 50% deposit at the time of booking to hold your spots. The remaining 50% of tuition is due at the beginning of the first lesson.

I accept cash and all major credit cards. If you prefer to pay by check please contact me to let me know it's coming and to receive the correct mailing address. Your spot will not be reserved until your check as been received. There will be a $100 fee for any bounced checks.

Cancellation and rescheduling

When notice of a cancelation is given more than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson, a 100% refund will be issued. When less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours of notice is given, only a 50% refund will be issued. Cancellations of less than 24 hours will be issued no refund.

Refunds are not available for any unused portion of lesson packages or classes. Any cancellation made on behalf of the instructor will always be made up at your earliest convenience.

If you would like to reschedule a class, please give at least 48 hours notice, and confirm a new time with me.

Group workshop cancellations and refunds

Class sizes are small and we rely on your commitment to run each class. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is included in your registration fee. If you withdraw from the class 3 days or more prior to the first session a 75% refund will be issued. No refunds can be given for withdrawals made within 3 days (72 hours) of the first session.

If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment to run you will be notified as soon as possible and you will be refunded. For those making travel plans to Portland, please check in with me to make sure the class has met the minimum before booking flights/hotel.

Please plan to attend all sessions of a workshop or class. Partial refunds for missed class time cannot be given. If you miss a class you may email the instructor to ask for a summary of what was covered. 

Weather

In cases of severe inclement weather, in-person classes will be canceled and a make-up date will be scheduled. Winter classes will typically be cancelled if local schools have closed for inclement weather. I do contact students when class is cancelled.

Late arrivals

Please plan to show up a few minutes early to set up and get comfortable before we start class. Tardiness past 20 minutes will be considered a cancellation and will follow above mentioned policy for such.
